How are you guys doing, long time no see right. I know all of you must be tired and bored of staying at home 🥱 quarantined. So many of us are away from home 🏡 without seeing our friends and family for so long, it’s hard I know. But all of these will soon be over 🤞🏻. Till then we have to stay motivated and safe. Since all of us are staying at home quarantined I thought this is the perfect time to have a pamper time 💆🏻♀️ and a little glow up. A pamper routine is the perfect way to relax and take a break from this quarantine stress. So what are you waiting for ? grab a bite and let’s begin!
Oh almost forgot, this glow up won’t happen in a single day so be patient 😇.
What a pamper routine without some skincare right? Every single person is beautiful in their own way but incorporating some skincare into your daily life can really spice up your look 🤩. If you already have a skincare routine, then good if not then why don’t you start now. Start with using a good face wash and a moisturizer that suits your skin. Sun 🌞 is the biggest enemy for your skin so never ever forget to wear that sunscreen. Also sleeping with your makeup on is a big no-no. Wash your face in the morning and night. You all must have seen those models with beautiful glowing skin and wondered how you can get such beautiful skin. Well, just doing skin care is not enough for that glow from within. What you need is healthy skin not only from the outside also from the inside. For that, it is essential for you to maintain a balanced diet and water 💧 intake. You have to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Having a glass of lemon 🍋 water in the morning on an empty stomach is known to have multiple skincare and health care benefits. Also, don’t forget to cut down the caffeine intake. And eat a lot of greens 🥗.
Exercise not only burns carbs it also good for your skin. Regular exercises not only tone your body but also helps to get rid of toxins from your body. 🏃🏻♂️ It also improves blood circulation in your body which can give you glowy and healthy-looking skin. But don’t overwork your body you only want to exercise only 3-5 times a week.
Just like our skin, hair too has an important part in our looks 👱🏻♀️. Some people like to color their hair, straighten, curl and all these really depend on person to person. But all of these can cause a lot of damage to your hair so it is really important to treat it well if not they might become dry and brittle. Washing and conditioning your hair every third day 🚿, oiling your hair once a week, deep conditioning your hair once a week, using heat protectants while styling your hair can really change how your hair looks and feels. Taking vitamins and biotin are also known to be good for the health of your hair. Also sleeping on silk pillows and using silk scrunchies can make your hair less brittle and frizzy.
Just taking a shower every day might clean your body, but trust me that’s not enough 🛀🏻. To take care of your body you not only have to shower every day but also exfoliate your body once a week and moisturize your body after every bath. For exfoliating your body, you can use anybody scrub to remove those dead skins but what I personally prefer is a sugar scrub. In summers 🌤 I like to shower twice a day and use a light water-based moisturizer and in winters I like to shower only once a day and use a heavy-duty moisturizer. Why I like to shower only once a day is because showering too much in the winters might dry out your skin. Also adding a little bit of Epsom salt to the water you wash your body is known for cleansing the skin deeply. If you are suffering from ingrown hair, then exfoliating your body can help you with ingrown hair and 🍓 strawberry legs. And don’t use hot water to wash your body use lukewarm or cold water.
Last but not least is nails and teeth. When talking about nails you can either get a pedicure or manicure done professionally or you can do it at home. To do it at home soak your feet and hands for 5- 10 minutes, push back your cuticles, file your nails and shape them, use a pumice stone to get rid of dead skin from your heels, if you like then paint your nails too 💅🏻. Now coming to oral care 😁, the best way to keep them white and healthy is to brush your teeth twice a day, use a tongue cleaner, floss every day and use a good mouthwash to keep them smell nice. If you can opt for fluoride-free toothpaste to brush your teeth.
Now did I missed something? I did, right? the most important one! Your mind ☮. I know I know it’s stressful time but it will be over soon. So don’t worry, stay happy. Most of you must be working from home. In that case, this pamper routine is the best way to relax and take a break ☺. If you can try to read a book and take a break from electronics 📵. It really helps you to calm your mind and relax. For me what I like to do to relax and calm my mind is to sit outside and look at the trees and the sky 🌃, just me and nature 🌳.
